Warehouse Management

Warehouse Management for Multi-Location Operations

Stop managing each warehouse in a separate spreadsheet. Loribase gives you independent inventory control per location, documented internal transfers, and a consolidated view of total stock, all from a single system.

Warehouse Management

Why separate spreadsheets per warehouse fail

As operations grow beyond a single physical location, the spreadsheet problem multiplies. Each warehouse gets its own file, maintained by a different person. Transfers between locations become manual entries in two different documents, with no guarantee that both sides match.

The result is stock that "disappears" in transit, quantities that never reconcile, and a management team that cannot answer a simple question: how much of this item do we actually have, across all locations?

Enterprise WMS solutions solve this, but at a cost: six-figure implementations, months of configuration, and systems built for logistics companies with 50-person IT teams. Small and mid-size manufacturers and distributors are left with a gap between spreadsheets and tools that are too complex to operate.

Loribase fills this gap. Multi-location inventory management built for teams of 1 to 50, deployable in hours, not months.

Locations

Every location, independently controlled

Loribase treats each warehouse, production floor, and stock point as an independent entity, with its own inventory, its own events, and its own audit trail. You get both granular control per location and consolidated visibility across all of them.

Main warehouses

Track raw materials, finished goods, and WIP independently in each warehouse. Receive purchases directly into the correct location. No manual re-entry.

Distribution centers

Manage outbound stock at distribution centers as a separate location. Know exactly what is available, reserved, and incoming at each DC.

Third-party storage

Track stock stored at third-party logistics providers or contract warehouses. The stock is recorded in Loribase even if it is physically elsewhere.

Production floors

Separate raw material consumption from finished goods output at the production floor level. Understand real throughput per location.

Transit stock

When stock moves between locations, Loribase records an in-transit state, so inventory is never double-counted or lost between the origin and destination.

Consolidated view

Aggregate inventory across all locations into a single dashboard. Filter by location for operational decisions, or view totals for financial reporting.

How It Works

Internal transfers with full documentation

01

Initiate the transfer

Select the origin location, destination location, items, and quantities. Loribase reserves the stock at origin immediately, preventing it from being used in another operation while in transit.

02

In-transit state

Once the transfer is dispatched, the stock enters an in-transit state. It is no longer counted as available at the origin, but not yet available at the destination. The management team can see exactly where it is.

03

Confirm receipt

When the destination location confirms receipt, the stock becomes available there. The entire transfer is recorded as an immutable event, with timestamps, user, quantities, and locations.

04

Automatic audit trail

Every transfer creates a permanent event in the audit trail. You can trace every unit of inventory across every location change it has ever made. This is critical for lot traceability and financial accuracy.
